Distinction Palmerston North Hotel's 4th floor hotel rooms have been renovated and refurbished to reflect a modern & contemporary vibe.

"Guests can now take their stay up a level in Palmerston North and indulge in a newly refurbished Tower Executive, located on the 4th floor of the hotel offering city views. These 13 premium rooms are available for stays from September 2026, with plans in place to roll out more refurbishments in order to add more of these modern executive rooms to the hotel in the future” said Distinction Hotels Group CEO Duncan Fletcher of the iconic Palmerston North hotel.

Enhanced soundproofing and a luxury cloud-like super king bed, synonymous with those highly rated at Distinction Dunedin Hotel are a feature of the chic new rooms and will ensure a restful night’s sleep. Warm ambient lighting and individually controlled heat pumps/air conditioning have also been installed for the comfort of guests.

These 13 new Tower Executives include plush carpet, oversized luggage rack, ample wardrobe space, mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Ensuite bathrooms have been enveloped in floor to ceiling tiles and fitted with a sleek new vanity and vessel basin, walk-in shower and complimentary Distinction toiletries.

After a day of adventure or business in the Manawatu region, relax on the comfortable couch and chill in front of the 50" flat screen smart television. A table with comfortable armchair and free unlimited WiFi help to make working away from home or the office that much easier.

Guests can also enjoy dining at the hotel’s popular Nosh Restaurant, open daily for breakfast and dinner during their stay. The hotel also offers 4 meeting rooms and extensive on-site conference co-ordination services, catering for smaller groups or up to 500 delegates.
